After checking out many reviews, I purchased this Hoover Stick Vac for quick pick-ups rather than constantly having to pull out my large vac. With the rolling brush, it does a great job of getting any crumbs and hair off carpeting and bare floor. The see-through dirt cup allows you to see when the cup is full. It is light weight and does not make a lot of noise. I am very pleased with this purchase and am considering buying another one for a back room. Amazon had the best price. This review is from: Hoover Corded Cyclonic Stick Vacuum, SH20030 (Kitchen) After researching many stick vacs, I bought this one because it has the option to vacuum carpets as well as bare floors. I'm impressed with the powerful suction, slim head for getting under cabinets and couches, and it's overall slim design and light weight for overall use and storage. It's also super easy to remove the dirt cup to empty it's contents. The only thing I thought wasn't great was the swivel steering, but it's not enough to rate this less than 5 stars. Overall this is a great vacuum for quick cleanups for hard wood and tile floors.
